Specific Laws

From the DNR
The following 31 states will honor Wisconsin's CCL. Check the laws of those states BEFORE you carry in them.
AK, AL, AR, AZ, CO, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NV, OH, OK, PA, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT, WV, WY - as of 06-27-2020

The following 18 states will NOT honor Wisconsin's CCL. You may not be safe to spend your money there.
CA, CT, DE, FL, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OR, RI, SC, TX, WA,

Maine and West Virginia are Permit-less Carry states and any resident or non-resident who is 21 or older who can legally possess a firearm can carry it concealed in Maine and West Virginia without any type of permit/license. By statute Maine and West Virginia still don’t honor all other states permit/licenses, but then again Maine and West Virginia don't need to declare reciprocity before a permit holder from another state is allowed to carry concealed. However, residents of Maine and West Virginia have different rights than non-residents, so non-residents need to check the statutes of Maine and West Virginia.
